A new year brings a new competition so we ask that you please review entry requirements for this year's competition as well as the actual competition structure and rules before entering

Step One
Register by November 23, 2012. Simply click the Register Now link to the right then proceed to Step Two!
*Note: We will not accept any submission packages the week later (November 27 and 28, 2012) unless you have registered on this site. We will be cross-checking with the entrant registration list which is generated from this site*
Step Two

Application packages must be shipped on Monday, November 26, 2012. We will accept packages on Tuesday, November 27 AND Wednesday, November 28 ONLY. All shipments must be received by end of business day- 5:00pm Central Time. This package needs to include your portfolio, (1) gâteau de voyage and (2) spreadable pastes.

FINALISTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 3, 2012.
Step Three
Finalists will travel to Chicago May 15, 2013 for the final competition.
Competition will be May 16-18, 2013!
Each finalist will need to ship their (2) finished gâteaux de voyage and (2) spreadable pastes on Monday, May 13- for arrival on Tuesday or Wednesday, May 14-15 ONLY. If the finalist is in Chicago, they will need to drop off at the Chocolate Academy on this day. Both these items must be identical to the previously submitted ones (from the selection round).
The competition will be split between two days...
*Day 1: Finalists will have 3 hours to create their Chocolate Showpiece and begin their Sugar Confection. There will be 1 hour for cleaning and prep for Day 2 which will follow.
*Day 2: Finalists will have 5 hours to complete their Chocolate Tablet, Dessert in a Glass & Sugar Confection.

The winners will be announced on the last day of the competition.
